Transition, Oil on panel 98 cm x 98 cm, Framed
Whenever I travel, I cannot miss those beautiful gems appearing along the way. I spent some time walking along the Tasmanian National Parks coast and was inspired by the colours of the clear water, the rocks, and the rugged bush along the shore. The contrast created appeared to me as a beautiful abstract painting.
Transition is part of my artistic journey. By presenting forms and colours through the oil painting medium I aim to communicate with the viewer on the emotional level. The subject matter become less important for me as I am trading its symbolic value for a visual poetry produced by the painted matter itself. A deep observation of nature developed through painting its details is gradually leading me towards an organic and environmental representation in a pure abstract style.
