Plein Air painting on NSW North Coast, Oil on wood panel 25 cm x 35 cm
When I travel, I like to take with me some paint and brushes to catch the feeling of the moment. This particular landscape reminded me of a trip going north when I arrived in Australia and discovering the beautiful east coast. I was painting from our campsite in February 1990 and the result was very fresh and spontaneous. After so many years, I discovered it again in my storage unframed and fell sorry to have left it for so long and really liked it. I then decided to give the life it had before by recoating the colours with light glazing and frame it. Voila, she is ready to be enjoyed again!
